An enormously good quality of stay

One of our highlight projects in 2023 was the 3,000 square meters on Munich’s Max-Joseph-Platz, which we were allowed to use for the BMW Group at the IAA. From 5-10 September 2023, the public was able to experience the latest highlights from the fields of electrification, digitalization and circularity in the open space in front of the Bavarian State Opera; including the BMW Vision New Class, the all-electric BMW i5 and the world premieres of the new all-electric MINI Cooper, MINI Countryman and the eParkourer BMW CE 02.

While the set-up phase was hampered by continuous rain, the optimal weather conditions during the trade fair days attracted many visitors to Munich city center and the IAA Mobility 2023 (in addition to the highlights offered by the exhibitors). The open space designed by Meiré und Meiré and implemented by Winkels Interior integrated a 650 square meter roof terrace, a semicircular grandstand, a bar on individual container structures and an interactive scavenger hunt for the young target group in addition to the presentation areas of the BMW, Mini and BMW Motorrad brands. Overall, the area offered an enormously high quality of stay and invited many visitors to linger. The collaboration with Meiré und Meiré GmbH as design agency, Elastique GmbH as content creator and Connex GmbH as technical management was already tried and tested, a pleasure for us and a promising joint venture for the client.
