A modern interior for a historic building

The redesigned Schloss Fürstenberg Museum comprises a total area of just under 4,000 square metres and takes visitors on a themed voyage of discovery through the world of porcelain.

The contemporary exhibition concept drawn up by the Meiré und Meiré agency is delightful in its calm and clarity. Winkels was given responsibility for the implementation of the entire interior design project, with the colours of white, black and gold now radiating throughout the historic building. There are three levels of product and corporate history to explore. Some sections of the museum feature striking display structures specially designed to show exhibits in their best light. Perfectly positioned glass vitrines and delicate steel structures and air-conditioned cabinets are also used – each of them finished to an extremely high standard.
