Project Description

The fascination of integration

Founded in 1894, timber derivatives producer Pfleiderer has been a Winkels customer since 2015 and first placed their trust in our outfitting expertise on the occasion of Holz & Handwerk 2016. The new stand concept developed by architect Natalie Jürgens a year later has since been implemented by Winkels within the context of all trade fair projects.

It was our pleasure to support Pfleiderer at the Interzum trade fair in Cologne from the 21st to the 24th of May 2019. Our main areas of focus were the presentation of new functional surfaces, patterns and structures and the integration thereof into the stand in accordance with the customer’s requirements. Pfleiderer supplies a huge range of natural materials for constructional and decorative applications in the international furniture and interior design sector. They can be found in living rooms, offices, public buildings, hotels, restaurants and mobile spaces such as ships and caravans. The diversity of the firm’s product range was highlighted not only by the Winkels-built stand, but also in discussions with architects, designers, planners, manufacturers and end users.

“Wherever and however large the event, Winkels always know exactly how to present us as a timber derivatives producer that sets itself nothing but the highest in material processing benchmarks. All structures are finished to extremely high quality, all items from the extensive Pfleiderer product range are integrated cleanly and precisely – just how you would expect to see them in real-world applications. Such an outstanding level of workmanship doesn’t come as standard in the world of exhibition stand construction. But it does at Winkels. We’re also extremely impressed by the efficiency, expertise and friendliness of the firm’s assembly teams.” Stefan Nepf, Head of Trade Marketing at Pfleiderer Deutschland GmbH
