Having already worked with Rudolf Ostermann GmbH at the EuroShop, SICAM and HoutPro+ events, in 2019 Winkels designed and built a stand for the firm’s appearance at the Interzum trade fair. Despite wishing to continue to use their existing modular system at the world’s leading trade fair for furniture manufacturing and interior design, the customer nevertheless wanted to expand and enhance that system by adding a number of flexible elements. The key objective was to ensure the reusability of not only the presentation modules but also the materials exhibited.

In addition to the wholesaler’s instantly recognisable corporate colours, the conceptualisation and design phase also factored in the firm’s huge range of products for carpenters: Ostermann is Europe’s leading supplier of edging and fittings, with 6,000 items available to order on a daily basis. A large area was dedicated to the presentation of new products, with specially designed units used to give visitors a hands-on introduction to the exhibits.
