A shimmering exhibition stand for BMW at IAA 2025 in Munich
As an experienced stand builder, we bring brand presentations to life – precise, sustainable and on schedule – in the heart of Munich
With a huge dose of teamwork, we created an impressive open space for BMW AG at the 2025 IAA in Munich. Covering 2.856 m², we managed the complete exhibition stand construction, including project management, production, and on-site assembly, implementing the concept designed by Meiré and Meiré and technically planned by Conex GmbH with exact precision.
The stand’s architecture is defined by extraordinary dimensions: around 415 tons of steel, including container structures, formed the basis for this striking exhibition stand design. Additional elements included 60 tons of gravel spread over 1,040 m², along with 4.680 plants and 22 trees arranged in 57 planters and 106 m² of custom-shaped boxes, creating a natural and inviting atmosphere.
A particular highlight was the approximately 1.7-ton “Mini Sprung”, featuring a shimmering facade of 9.780 reflective tiles, which became the key visual centerpiece. Modern accents were added through 795 m² of WPC decking and 299 m² of LED surfaces, giving the outdoor exhibition stand a sustainable yet futuristic appearance.
Despite the size and complexity of the project, the setup was completed in just twelve days and dismantling in only four and a half days. The consistently positive feedback from BMW underscores the success of this collaboration, building on past achievements and setting the stage for future projects in exhibition stand construction and stand architecture.
