IAA Transportation and Daimler demand maximum commitment from Winkels

Winkels Interior builds in little time, with a lot of material and maximum resource conservation

At the IAA Transportation in Hanover, Daimler Truck AG presented its broad portfolio for the emission-free transportation of the future. In a comparatively short project and assembly time, Winkels achieved the following, among other things:

  • 2,900 m² floor at a height of 100 mm – completely accessible by truck
  • 6 m high and 60 m long supporting structure made of in-house steel and aluminum
  • 120 m² integrated upper floor with a view over the entire stand area
  • 85 tons of precisely positioned concrete barriers for the Driving Experience in the exhibition hall in the exhibition hall
  • 5,100 running meters of Cat6 cable for high-speed Internet
  • > 200 power connections for catering, technology and car charging stations
  • Implementation: daily changing setups and multiple conversions from daytime trade fair operations to evening events as well as night-time return.
  • Material volume: 35 trucks of 40 tons each per route.
